A Lovely Day

Recently, my boyfriend and I decided to go on a walk in Olinda falls; a nature reserve located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs amongst the Dandenong Ranges. We live near by so it was about a half an hour drive to get there. We were both immediately awestruck by the beauty, it just felt so right being there, experiencing the beauty that nature is.
The weather wasn't at it's best, nor at it's worst. Brad ended up offering me his jacket since I was shivering so much, always the gentlemen. There are many different locations to venture off to, however Brad and I didn't really plan our route; we just went with the flow, mostly picking the left when it came to two or more tracks. It was so lovely just to saunter around and chat, enjoying each others company, all whilst experiencing the beauty known as nature. I loved feeling the fresh, cold air against my face, you really do notice the comparison between air in the mountains compared to that in the suburbs.

Afterwards, we decided to head back to Brad's. As I was feeling a slurpee, we made a stop into the local 7 eleven to get one. Due to temptation, we also left the store with two Krispy Kreme donuts. Now I'm not usually a fan of Kripsy Kreme donuts, but that custard donut definitely satisfied my appetite. Once we got home, we just relaxed and enjoyed each others company.
