New Years Resolutions.

Writing this, I cannot believe that 2014 is over, it just flew past so quickly and now it's time to embrace 2015. First of all, I want to wish you all a big Happy New Year. I hope you had an amazing time over the festive season and I hope this year brings you joy. This year I have a few resolutions that I would like to share with you.

Fitness and Health: This is the cliche one, but for good reason. Fitness and health is such an important part of your life and I believe that it is a lifestyle. In 2014, I started to focus on my health and tried to improve aspects of my health that I was slack in. I joined the gym, and although I did stick with it for awhile, I did become a bit slack nearing the end of the year. I also started to focus on what I was putting into my body and put an effort into making more healthier choices. This included things like eating less junk food and upping the intake of healthier foods, drinking more water and incorporating super foods into my diet.  In 2015 I would like to further improve my health and fitness and be a bit disciplined in these things, and Of course mental health is a big part of this. I am thinking of doing a post to explain the actions I will be taking to achieve these things and my progress. Let me know your thoughts on that below.

Saving Money: During 2014, I managed to save a bit, but in saying that, I also was spending money on things I didn't need. In 2015, I want to cut down the amount I am spending on unnecessary items. I have a few tips and tricks that will help me along the way and will therefore increase the amount I am saving. Keep an eye out for a post on those.

Connect: Imagine this, you're out shopping and you bump into a friend you haven't seen in ages. You engage in a conversation about how good it is to see each other and that you should catch up next week. You both agree to text each other to confirm details, but alas, it never happens. Sound familiar? I'm sure, like myself, that many of you have been guilty of this. It baffles me as to why this happens, especially when it's a good friend, or even your best friends. You do want to see them, but you never text them back. What is it with us humans?! In 2015, I want to take the time and effort to connect with my loved ones. Because really, life is so short, and instead of sitting around home, you could be out having a blast with your friends.

Read more: For the past few years, I haven't read as much as I use to, or at all really. Which is something that really sucks. Reading is something I really enjoy and I want to make the time to do that this year. So if you have any book recommendations, throw them this way!

Productivity and Time Management: This is an area I have a little trouble with. I am the person that does everything, but the task I need to do. Even when there is nothing else I could possibly have to do, I still look for something else to do. This is something that needs to stop.

What are your New Years Resolutions? Do you have any tips 'n tricks that will help with the above resolutions?

-xx
