My Goals For 2017

Today I thought I'd share my goals for 2017. In my last post I discussed my 2016 goals and the progress I had made on them - so If you haven't seen that then I'd suggest giving that a read before you continue. Last year I had a lot of smaller goals, where this year I have fewer goals, but they are more significant.

2016 Goals: Did I Achieve Them ?

Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? Can you believe it's 2017 already? Last year just flew by (gosh, it feels so weird saying that. By the way, am I the only one that still says gosh?). Today I thought I'd talk about my 2016 goals and whether or not I achieved them.

Things To Do When You're Feeling Down

things to when you are feeling down. Ways to cheer yourself up.

Today I'm having a bit of a down day. I'm feeling stressed, tense and tired. It's just been one of those weeks. You know what I mean right? We all have those days or weeks where it just gets a bit too much. You're stressed, you have some stuff going on, you haven't slowed down, or perhaps you're just feeling a bit flat. Don't worry it's perfectly normal.

How To Achieve Your Goals

How to Achieve your goals, short term goals, long term goals

Today I decided to do something a bit different from my normal content. I thought I would share my tips on achieving your goals. I have tried to make this as short as possible. However I always tend to make things really lengthy, so we'll see how we go. Please let me know what you think of the post and whether or not you'd like to see more post like this.

Finally, A Chatty Post!

I don't know about you, but I love a chatty blog post.  I believe an individuals personality comes across and therefore I can relate to them more. It's not just me reading a post that somebody on the Internet wrote, Y'know?  So today I thought I'd give it a try. Well actually, I have thought about giving it a try many times. The problem is, whenever I put my fingers on the keyboard, I never know where to begin. Today I am pushing through that, and hoping I will come up with something half interesting for you to read.

Becoming A Mum

On the 20th of April at 4:11am, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. It was one of the most amazing and overwhelming days of my life. As Lily is nearly four months old, I thought I would write about my experience of becoming a mum.

Budget Date Inspiration

As Valentine's day is approaching, it seemed like the perfect time to share some of my favourite budget date idea's with you. These are activities that not only can you do with your partner/date, but things you can do with your friends too. Who doesn't love spending time with their gal pals? Here are some of my favourite ways to spend time with your partner or friend, that won't hurt your bank account.

Small Lifestyle Goals For 2016.

This year, I didn't really make any New Years Resolutions. To me it feels like it's more of a cliche. Something that everyone does, but nobody ever sticks to, or maybe that's just me.  In saying that, there are a few things I would like to do this year. I wouldn't call them big changes, more just little goals that I would like to achieve.

It's Okay to Need a Break.

I'm not sure how to begin this post, so if this seems a bit un-put together, I apologise.

Things Didn't Go As Planned.

So I started this blog planning to post every Sunday. But as you can see, things did not go as planned. 2015 was a very big year for me. Life just got in the way and it turns out I couldn't commit to that weekly post.

January Favourites

It's 2015 and I thought I'd hit it up with my first favourite's post. You may recognise a few of these things from this post. Mostly because these are the only make up cosmetics I've had access to over the last month, for reasons I won't be going into. Here are my January favourites.

Sharing the Love: YouTuber's

I believe that a huge part of the online community is sharing the success of others. I decided I wanted to do a series that does just that. Today I will be sharing with you a few of my favourite YouTuber's. What do I look for in a YouTuber? I look for someone who is real and makes high quality content. These are the people that I believe fit the bill.

New Years Resolutions.

Writing this, I cannot believe that 2014 is over, it just flew past so quickly and now it's time to embrace 2015. First of all, I want to wish you all a big Happy New Year. I hope you had an amazing time over the festive season and I hope this year brings you joy. This year I have a few resolutions that I would like to share with you.

Stocking Stuffers

What's this? two post in one week? I know guys, it's shocking. I just had so many idea's that I couldn't not put up a post.

I'm Back Baby!

I bet you haven't seen my name pop up in your feed for a while. If you're wondering why that is, well I can only sum it up by saying life happened. I had my uni exams, my nursing placement, and then there was a spontaneous move which resulted in a lost camera. When I did find it, I just didn't feel like blogging. It wasn't that I was in a rut, or that I was sick of blogging; it was just that I didn't really want to. I just wanted to have a break, and so I did.

But baby, I am back! so I guess it's time for a bit of a catch up?

30 things i've learnt in 20 years

Originally this was meant to be a "20 things I've learnt in 20 years" but when I was writing, I realised that I have learnt so much and really wanted to include everything as I feel they are all important.

1. Appreciate everything you have
2.  If a situation or relationship is not serving you, remove yourself from the equation.

Music Back in the Day.

I'm not sure if turning 20 has made me feel nostalgic lately, but the other day I started listening to some old songs and I thought it would be fun to make a post of the music that I listened to growing up. So really, you guys are going to learn about my horrendous music taste growing up, or there will be some gems in here that everyone remembers from when they were growing up.

Sam Pepper's Social Experiment

Hey guys,

I just wanted to do an extra post to talk about the latest controversy. I'm sure a lot of you know that last week, Sam Pepper uploaded a video which showed him sexually assaulting women. But there was more to it than meets the eye. What a lot of you don't know is that there were three videos. The second video demonstrated the reverse in roles - showing women assaulting men. Now I haven't actually seen the video as it was taken down from Youtube, but Sam did explain it in his final video, the reveal.

A Weekend Away: Day Four

On Sunday I woke up, and after a few seconds, it actually registered that it was my birthday and I was 20 years old. It was sort of strange to think that I am no longer a teenager. But I am definitely looking forward to embracing my 20's. It also hit me that today it was time to go back home, which was a bit disappointing as I had had such a wonderful time over the past few days.
