I'm Back Baby!
I bet you haven't seen my name pop up in your feed for a while. If you're wondering why that is, well I can only sum it up by saying life happened. I had my uni exams, my nursing placement, and then there was a spontaneous move which resulted in a lost camera. When I did find it, I just didn't feel like blogging. It wasn't that I was in a rut, or that I was sick of blogging; it was just that I didn't really want to. I just wanted to have a break, and so I did.
But baby, I am back! so I guess it's time for a bit of a catch up?

Empties
Today's post will be an empties post. For those of you who don't know what an empties post is, it involves discussing product's that I've finished and giving a review of those products. Basically I'm showing you my rubbish and telling you if I like it or not. I know there are mixed opinions on empties posts. There are times in the blogging world when all the hype is on a certain product. Sometimes these products are worth the hype, and other times maybe not. Here are a few products that I believe are worth the hype. Although these products work for me, they may not necessarily work for everyone, after all this is just my opinion on the products.

Originally this was meant to be a "20 things I've learnt in 20 years" but when I was writing, I realised that I have learnt so much and really wanted to include everything as I feel they are all important.
1. Appreciate everything you have
2. If a situation or relationship is not serving you, remove yourself from the equation.

I'm not sure if turning 20 has made me feel nostalgic lately, but the other day I started listening to some old songs and I thought it would be fun to make a post of the music that I listened to growing up. So really, you guys are going to learn about my horrendous music taste growing up, or there will be some gems in here that everyone remembers from when they were growing up.
Sam Pepper's Social Experiment
Hey guys,I just wanted to do an extra post to talk about the latest controversy. I'm sure a lot of you know that last week, Sam Pepper uploaded a video which showed him sexually assaulting women. But there was more to it than meets the eye. What a lot of you don't know is that there were three videos. The second video demonstrated the reverse in roles - showing women assaulting men. Now I haven't actually seen the video as it was taken down from Youtube, but Sam did explain it in his final video, the reveal.

I'm going to keep this short, because you are all probably sick of hearing about the Lorac Pro Palette, but I couldn't not talk about it. It is 100% a hit from me. I pretty much have the same opinion as everyone who has tried the Lorac Pro Palette, but I wanted to tell you why I liked it and some of my favourite shades from the Palette.
A Weekend Away: Day Four
On Sunday I woke up, and after a few seconds, it actually registered that it was my birthday and I was 20 years old. It was sort of strange to think that I am no longer a teenager. But I am definitely looking forward to embracing my 20's. It also hit me that today it was time to go back home, which was a bit disappointing as I had had such a wonderful time over the past few days.
A Weekend Away: Day Three
On Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast once again. I loved that I didn't have to rush to be anywhere, meaning that I could relax, eat my breakfast and just enjoy the moment.
After breakfast, we started getting ready. We packed the picnic basket which included sandwiches, Salada's and cream cheese, strawberries and other tasty treats. We then hopped into the car and away we went.

Waking up in a hotel room has to be one of the best feeling's ever. It felt so good knowing that I didn't have to get up and do the usual tasks that life requires. I could just relax and be. Can I just say, the Linen was amazing! The pillow cases were the softest things I have ever felt. I have to admit, I just couldn't get over it. By the end of the trip, I had looked for a label to see where they were from, unfortunately, the tags were cut off.
A Weekend Away: Day One.
This year for my birthday, my boyfriend and I decided to head away for a few days. We found this lovely little B&B in Lorne, a town I could only describe as breath taking.
We drove down on the Thursday. Going down, the scenery was gorgeous, the closer we got, the more beautiful the views were. You could really see the beauty that earth holds. Something, I vow to notice every single day from now.

The Lush Experience.
Until a few months ago, I didn't know Lush existed in Australia (sad huh?). I read so many posts and watched so many video's where people discussed Lush products; and I really wished I could try some products from Lush, they just sounded amazing! Then one day, I typed "Lush Australia" into the Google Search Bar, and to my suprise (and delight), there were a few Lush stores near by. I couldn't wait to go there.
Review: Designer Brands Nail Polish in Watermelon Gold.
This nail polish colour is "Watermelon Gold in 532". I would describe this colour as a gorgeous medium pink with some gold in it. When the light hits the your nails right, a nice golden shimmer reflects back. I'm not usually into pink, but this colour is very unique compared to other pinks.

After a long holidays, the new university semester has finally commenced. Unfortunately, this means the dreaded early mornings, something I am not a fan of. A Lovely Day
Recently, my boyfriend and I decided to go on a walk in Olinda falls; a nature reserve located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs amongst the Dandenong Ranges. We live near by so it was about a half an hour drive to get there. We were both immediately awestruck by the beauty, it just felt so right being there, experiencing the beauty that nature is.

I love watching "what's in my bag" videos as i find them really interesting and who doesn't enjoy being nosey and seeing what others keeps in their bags.
